U-Pass Add-on is not available as McMaster University and Mohawk College are not providing students with bus passes.
$30 U-Pass Add-On for Students
McMaster University and Mohawk College students with a current studentl I.D. and a transit endorsement (U-Pass) can purchase a monthly U-Pass add-on for $30 (unlimited access to Burlington Transit).
Students purchasing a U-Pass Add-on must show the following:
- McMaster & Redeemer College: A PRESTO card with an HSR pass on it and student card (both are required)
- Mohawk: A student I.D. with a valid U-Pass sticker
U-Pass Add-on is not available to other post-secondary institutions.
Burlington Transit Pass Information:
- U-Pass Add-ons are only available for purchase at the downtown terminal on John Street
- To purchase the U-Pass Add-on, students must be currently registered at McMaster Univeristy including Redeemer College and Mohawk College
- Monthly passes are available on PRESTO cards only. PRESTO cards cost $6
- Monthly passes are good for unlimited travel within Burlington
- Burlington monthly passes cannot be used on other transit systems
- Monthly passes cannot be replaced if your card is lost, stolen or broken
